Shirley obtained her Associate’s degree at Southwestern Oregon Community College, and her Baccalaureate degree from the University of Oregon, where she dual majored in Psychology and Sociology. After years working as a paralegal in the area of Family Law in Eugene and Seattle, Shirley returned to the Oregon Coast in 2000 where she fostered the educational desires of other local residents as the Associate Director of the Southwestern Oregon University Center while herself completing a Master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA) with high honors for academic excellence.


          Having been a single parent for several years, when her son decided to serve his country by entering the military after graduating high school, Shirley seized the opportunity and returned yet again to college, this time pursuing her law degree at the University of Washington in Seattle. After becoming a licensed attorney in Oregon, Shirley first worked for a large law firm in Portland where she received excellent experience in the area of family law and legal practice in general. Coming full circle, Shirley returned home to Oregon’s South Coast in 2011 and set up her own law practice. Shirley is dedicated to providing caring and affordable quality legal services to residents of Oregon’s South Coast.
